Homecoming Information
Parade:
Friday, October 14th, 2011. Participants need to report to the parade by 5:15pm. Departure is from the Hamilton County Office of Education Parking Lot (located on Civic Center Drive near the North Central Library). Invite friends and family to come watch and support Northwest!
Elections:
Petitions available Wednesday, September 28th, 2011. They are due Wednesday, October 5th, 2011. Preliminary elections are on Friday, October 7th, 2011. Final elections are on Friday, October 14th, 2011. These elections will take place in homerooms, please make sure you are registered to vote.
Dance:
Saturday, October 15th, 2011. The dance will be held from 7:30pm-11:00pm, and the royal dance/presentation of gifts will take place at approximately 10pm. Tickets will be sold at lunch M-F for $10.00 per person. You will recieve a wristband, this will serve as your ticket - DO NOT LOSE IT. Guest forms must be picked up and returned to the Administrators. Guests will not be admitted if they have not been approved. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Senate Credit Info:
Set-up will take place from 8:00am - 3:00pm. You only need 3 hours of work and to bring in items OR 4 hours of work to gain the full 1/2 credit. Clean-up will last approx. 30-45 minutes if you need more time and can't commit a full 4 hours that morning. One hour of credit can be earned by bringing in an item (see Stephanie Herndon for details).
